Managing Director, Practice Leader Activity-based Performance Management

Following his studies (Bachelor with a Masters degree in Financial Mathematics) at the Technical University in Berlin, Philip Aurich worked from 1991 as senior consultant and project manager for various notable management consultancies. In 1996 he assumed responsibility for the IT Management division with Kleinbaum Management Consultants. From 1999 Philip Aurich was active as senior consultant with ABB Business Services Ltd.
In 2000 he founded Aurich Consulting GmbH. As Managing Director, he is responsible for a team of highly-qualified specialists, and is at the same time active as a top management consultant for cross-sector corporations. His main focus is on the automotive, banking, commercial, insurance, utilities, telecommunications and IT sectors. The emphasis hereby lies on the deployment of highly-specific methods for the solution of complex tasks, such as the conjunction of strategy, controlling and operative direction. This successful combination of efficiency, knowledge, and experience also distinguishes the history of Aurich Consulting. The emphasis has from the beginning been on activity-based and performance management.

Dipl. Ing. Jürg Stuber

Practice Leader Finance

Jürg Stuber is a partner in Aurich Consulting GmbH as of 2009. He has profound knowledge of business management and technical disciplines. Jürg Stuber was employed in various positions by UBS for 23 years, in both Europe and the USA. As CEO with Diebold Management Consultants, he was responsible for the Swiss market. He is a specialist in the post-merger integration of global projects.

Dr.-Ing. Matthias Vitt, Diplom-Physiker

Practice Leader Software Engineering

Since 2009 Dr. Matthias Vitt is active as a Senior Consultant for Aurich Consulting.
Dr. Vitt studied physics in the TH Karlsruhe and graduated as a PhD in engineering science. He has collected his practical experiences in software engineering as a developer and project manager in the areas of Measurement Techniques, Human-Resources, in the Finance sector as well as in the Supply Chain design sphere. He was active as an adviser and trainer for Object Oriented Analytics, Design Patterns and software engineering methods. Under his leadership excellent software for the planning and optimization of logistics networks was developed several times.
Besides expert's know-how in the Enterprise Java sphere and in agile software development processes (XP, Crystal Clear) Dr. Vitt also provides varied experiences in the area of Open-Source applications as well as concept and planning of IT projects.

FH-Prof. Dr. Joachim Werner

Practice Leader Reform of Public Administration

Dr. Joachim Werner has been with Aurich Consulting GmbH since 2002.
Joachim Werner studied Business Studies at the Technical University in Berlin, and worked for 5 years as a research fellow at the Institute for Accounting and Control. Following graduation he worked for various consultancies; he was commissioned by Kienbaum Management Consultants to provide the conceptual design for new control models, including cost and activity accounting, for the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to his work for Aurich Consulting GmbH, Dr. Joachim Werner has commitments as a Fachhochschule (University of Applied Sciences) professor at the Technikum in Carinthia.

Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Grimmer

As a qualified engineer for production technology Dirk Grimmer worked with different software Enterprise and acquired to himself comprehensive knowledge and abilities in the area of Operating systems, programming as well as hardware and software. He exerted himself his knowledge successfully as a Senior Consultant with the project management in the public area and the industry before he in 2004 independently made. Since 2008 he is active as a Senior Consultant with the Aurich Consulting GmbH, his main focuses are data bank uses, Reporting, system management (Windows Server) as well as IT projects of concept to conversion.

Theodor Weidmann

Since 2011 Theodor Weidmann is active as a senior Consultant for Aurich Consulting. He studied chemistry and biology in Munich and finished an IT education as a data processing specialist. Since 1990 Theodor Weidmann works independently in different positions at famous banks and engineer's offices, attended construction projects and used his expert's assessment in the Controlling of major enterprises. His main focuses are data bank uses, reporting, documentation as well as IT projects of the concept up to the conversion. His big expert's knowledge is to be emphasised in the area of the data analysis, data migration and data processing in the different data bank systems just as his interdisciplinary thinking and action in the project course.

Dipl.-Kfm. Holger Wagner

After his study of the economics and organisation sciences Holger Wagner was active as a manager and management consultant. Since 2005 Holger Wagner is active as a senior consultant for Aurich Consulting. As a certificate businessman he sees his main focus in the Controlling and looks back, besides, at a long-standing, also international occupational experience. Besides, he uses his radical understanding of process optimisation, planning systems and calculation systems as well as turn around management in different branches and pursues a pragmatic realisation of sighting.

Marc Lingk

From 2006 Marc Lingk is active as a consultant for Aurich Consulting. Grown up close to Paris he filed the German French Abitur / Baccalauréat with the main subjects mathematics and physics and studied afterwards physics at the Technical University in Berlin. As a chief programmer and software developer he worked for different enterprises and founded his own software company and is active in the software development for the iPhone. At the same time he impart knowledge as a college lecturer of the advanced technical college in technology and economy Berlin.

Feras Alsamawi, MSc

Feras Alsamawi is working as a Consultant for Aurich Consulting. He studied Business Administration and Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and Finance & International Business (MSc) at the Aarhus School of Business in Denmark. He gained varied experience during different internships and working periods at the Siemens AG Berlin, in R&D at the Berlin Heart GmbH and in the Innovation Development at the Deutsche Telekom Laboratories.

Dipl.-Math oec. Sylvia Birnbaum

After an education as a bank clerk at the Berlin banking corporation Sylvia Birnbaum studied business mathematics at the Technical University in Berlin and the Purdue University in Indiana / USA. She gained first professional experience at the Berlin banking corporation as a student. Since 2011 Sylvia Birnbaum is active as a consultant for Aurich Consulting. Her special interests include risk management and the corresponding mathematical models.
