Dipl.-Math. oec. Philipp Aurich
Managing Director, Practice Leader Activity-based Performance Management
Following his studies (Bachelor with a Masters degree in Financial Mathematics) at the Technical University in Berlin, Philip Aurich worked from 1991 as senior consultant and project manager for various notable management consultancies. In 1996 he assumed responsibility for the IT Management division with Kleinbaum Management Consultants. From 1999 Philip Aurich was active as senior consultant with ABB Business Services Ltd.
In 2000 he founded Aurich Consulting GmbH. As Managing Director, he is responsible for a team of highly-qualified specialists, and is at the same time active as a top management consultant for cross-sector corporations. His main focus is on the automotive, banking, commercial, insurance, utilities, telecommunications and IT sectors. The emphasis hereby lies on the deployment of highly-specific methods for the solution of complex tasks, such as the conjunction of strategy, controlling and operative direction. This successful combination of efficiency, knowledge, and experience also distinguishes the history of Aurich Consulting. The emphasis has from the beginning been on activity-based and performance management.

Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Inform. Steffen Märkle
Practice Leader Business Intelligence
Dr. Steffen Märkle has been with Aurich Consulting GmbH since 2007, and was appointed a partner in 2008.
He studied Computer Science at the Technical University in Berlin, and went on to earn a doctorate in Engineering Sciences. He acquired his profound knowledge of professional software development and system/network administration in the university environment. At the same time, he can look back on almost 20 years of experience in IT education. Residencies as a guest scientist in Japan and the USA complete his profile. His specialities as project manager and expert are in the health, IT, E-Learning, telecommunications, and public administration sectors.

Dipl. Ing. Jürg Stuber
Practice Leader Finance
Jürg Stuber is a partner in Aurich Consulting GmbH as of 2009. He has profound knowledge of business management and technical disciplines. Jürg Stuber was employed in various positions by UBS for 23 years, in both Europe and the USA. As CEO with Diebold Management Consultants, he was responsible for the Swiss market. He is a specialist in the post-merger integration of global projects.

Dr.-Ing. Matthias Vitt, Diplom-Physiker
Practice Leader Software Engineering
Since 2009 Dr. Matthias Vitt is active as a Senior Consultant for Aurich Consulting.
Dr. Vitt studied physics in the TH Karlsruhe and graduated as a PhD in engineering science. He has collected his practical experiences in software engineering as a developer and project manager in the areas of Measurement Techniques, Human-Resources, in the Finance sector as well as in the Supply Chain design sphere. He was active as an adviser and trainer for Object Oriented Analytics, Design Patterns and software engineering methods. Under his leadership excellent software for the planning and optimization of logistics networks was developed several times.
Besides expert's know-how in the Enterprise Java sphere and in agile software development processes (XP, Crystal Clear) Dr. Vitt also provides varied experiences in the area of Open-Source applications as well as concept and planning of IT projects.

FH-Prof. Dr. Joachim Werner
Practice Leader Reform of Public Administration
Dr. Joachim Werner has been with Aurich Consulting GmbH since 2002.
Joachim Werner studied Business Studies at the Technical University in Berlin, and worked for 5 years as a research fellow at the Institute for Accounting and Control. Following graduation he worked for various consultancies; he was commissioned by Kienbaum Management Consultants to provide the conceptual design for new control models, including cost and activity accounting, for the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to his work for Aurich Consulting GmbH, Dr. Joachim Werner has commitments as a Fachhochschule (University of Applied Sciences) professor at the Technikum in Carinthia.

Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Grimmer
As a qualified engineer for production technology Dirk Grimmer worked with different software Enterprise and acquired to himself comprehensive knowledge and abilities in the area of Operating systems, programming as well as hardware and software. He exerted himself his knowledge successfully as a Senior Consultant with the project management in the public area and the industry before he in 2004 independently made. Since 2008 he is active as a Senior Consultant with the Aurich Consulting GmbH, his main focuses are data bank uses, Reporting, system management (Windows Server) as well as IT projects of concept to conversion.

Dipl.-Inform. / Dipl. Kfm. (FH) Thomas Hecker
Thomas Hecker has been with Aurich Consulting GmbH as a Senior Consultant since 2009.
He studied computer science at Humboldt-University, Berlin and business administration at the HTW University of Applied Sciences, Berlin. Thomas Hecker has been co-founder of a successful mid-sized company. Since 2004, he has been working for Siemens / Nokia Siemens Networks as project manager of development projects of up to 200 staff years. He has been Project Management Professional (PMP) since May 2006. As a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) he is active in its Berlin/Brandenburg Chapter and in the Information Technology & Telecommunications Specific Interest Group. Further, he has been Certified Scrum Master (agile project management) and member of the Scrum Alliance since January 2009.Contact

Feras Alsamawi
Since 2009 Feras Alsamawi is active as a Junior Consultant for Aurich Consulting. In addition, he is completing his studies in Industrial IT- Engineering and Management at the Technical University of Berlin and the MSc programme Finance & International Business at the Aarhus School of Business. He gained varied experience during different internships and working periods at the Siemens AG Berlin, in R&D at the Berlin Heart GmbH and in the Innovation Development at the Deutsche Telekom Laboratories.Contact
